MRH debuts online vaccine scheduling
RELEASE DATE
July 7, 2021
[MILLINOCKET, MAINE] Consistency and convenience are the motive for recent revisions to the MRH vaccination plan.
MRH Walk-In Care is now accepting appointments for the Moderna vaccine. Vaccines will be administered on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. To make an appointment for a Moderna vaccination, please visit: mrhme.org/getvax.
Our automated system will show you what appointment times are available each day and allow you to reserve an appointment simply by entering your name and email address. You’ll receive a confirmation email, which will also give you instructions on how to reschedule, if needed.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will continue to be available on these same days; no appointment necessary.
With this new vaccine availability, we have discontinued our online and telephone preregistration systems. We ask that patients refrain from calling MRH Walk-In Care to coordinate an appointment as our staff is extremely busy caring for sick patients as well as administering COVID tests and vaccinations.
Based on the data up to June 28th, vaccination rates across our primary service area is as follows:
Benedicta 70%
East Millinocket 67%
Mattawamkeag 64%
Millinocket 76%
Medway 52%
Patten 61%
Sherman 50%
Stacyville 46%
We’re proud to share that Millinocket Regional Hospital currently has the highest rate of hospital staff vaccinations statewide; with 92.3 percent of our staff members fully vaccinated! While vaccination is not mandated and remains an individual choice, and we’re so proud of the choices our staff has made to protect themselves as well as our patients and community.
